The royal wedding was probably the most mediatized non-important event of the first half of this year. It was pretty clear that no one *really* cared about it. Some people even made a website that’s explaining the intricate reasoning behind the royal wedding craze. I don’t even think the royal couple cared too much about the royal wedding, but that’s just me.

However tacky, boring and dusty it may have been, the royal wedding should most likely be remembered for the whole array of funny pictures, captions and witty gifs that it sparked. Here’s a gallery of the best of the best, probably the only thing about it worth remembering.
