[...] Poor Man’s Porsche 911 GT3 RS – “The 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, basically a race car gone street legal, could be bit hard to get your hands on, with the $150,000 price tag and all. But when you really want one and you find yourself with too much time and colored paper on your hands, you can apply a little bit of them home engineering skills and build your own almost functional model. It may look like it’s made of pancake dough and it certainly doesn’t drive very well on a rainy day, but it’ll still get some ladies to turn their heads and check it out…” [...]

That’s a really neat idea! How fast does it go?
Thats a pretty sick ride. Score one for the little guy. Hows it powered though. Pedals?
Genius!
Beyond cool!

Try giving a link or even credit to the original site?
Wow, someone buy this guy a beer
This is so very sad. Some of these things should not be chronicled or remembered. Pitiful is not a strong enough word to do some of these stories justice. Something has gone very, very wrong.
soo the stearing wheel is bicycle handle bars?? is this just a glorified bike???
Fantastic!. Can’t believe how much effort you put into this project. lol
You have some balls for actually taking it onto the roads for real too.
Great stuff.
What a boss.
Being so clever he’ll own the real thing in no time,
the best thing I’ve seen in ages, well done.
Whoever wrote this article needs to learn to do a little research. They mention the 2010 GT3RS, but the one in the photo, and the model the guy is basing his design off of, is a 2008 model.
The gold exterior seems a bit excessive…
If it were a more plausible color, that would earn some mad respect.
He has thousands and thousands of people all over the world looking has his creation, how is that a waste of time? When was the last time you did anything that more then a dozen people looked at? It’s called a hobby. He doesn’t just sit around at home and jerk off to porn and watch tv all day.
I actually have more respect for this guy than the idiots that buy boxters/ caymanns.
At least his LOOKS like a 911.
That’s like saying the guy who discovered the cure for Smallpox is lame because someone else found the cure for Polio.
Both projects required a tremendous amount of hard work and ingenuity, and are likely much more significant than anything you’ve built.
Why don’t you give credit in the post where you ripped these off from?
It’s a bitch ass move to just through others work up without giving them credit:

@Shawn : Fixed, I didn’t know the original page, i even tried tracking it by the license plate and no luck. They came to us via a Russian friend of mine.
someone needs to lay off the weed.
alternate comment:
haters gonna hate.
I think he is very creative person.. I like this…
Fun! How creative is that? Mimicing is the highest form of flattery.
I say; Nay to the nay-sayers. Get life nay-sayers!
This would fit in with the creative talents of the artists of
Burning Man.
Now, where can I get one of these….hum,
get some toothpicks…I am making a F-17 stealth bomber.
That stupid slider thing blocked all the pictures and most of the text, If you are that hard up for recognition and freinds go to a bar and buy a whore.
Brilliant! Want one – but too idle (and no space) to build one. If my husband saw this he’d do it though.
Let the gainsayers go off to lead their sad little lives, this is real!
this guy deserves more respect than hes getting!!1 this is the future wether u like it or not…sumday we r going to run out of gasaline and we will have suthing like this on our roads…i realy love the idea and i want one of these…cept id put a diff kind of fabracation matterial as the body…cardboard? no…fiberglass thats what id use…and id paint it black and green…and have an actual steering wheel…go to the origanal site to see it all around and then watch the reporter “drive” it around the track
